OUR PROJECTS

  • Three projects targeting handicapped children and teenagers as well as their families: The Escuela Solidaridad of Santa Rosa, the Center Angeles de Esperanza of San Juan de Opoa and the Center Nora Martinez of Corquin.
  • The establishment of the Community Center located in Divina Providencia, the shanty town of Santa Rosa de Copan. Work is well underway. Sor Ines, member of a Franciscan sisters' community, is playing an important role in the carrying out of this project.
  • Ten study grants for the young girls who work at the Hogar de Ancianos, however, these grants have to be renewed every year for them to continue their education. (2 000$ for 2009)
